Happy Valentine's Day!!! Jeff and I both had to work yesterday so we celebrated our valentines day on Friday night. We went out to dinner at Sushiya and then went to Oasis to sit in a hot tub for an hour. To be honest, that place freaks me out a little bit, but it was still really relaxing. We weren't supposed to get each other anything else because of our recent TV purchase, but Jeff bought me the new Fray CD and "The Love Dare". The Love Dare is a 40 day challenge for married couples. I know it is going to be a big challenge for us, but I'm looking forward to it. We had a good laugh last night because it seems like every valentine's day something goes wrong...usually related to Jeff cooking me something special. This year he was trying to make strawberries dipped in chocolate, but the chocolate didn't cook like he thought it would and it wouldn't stick to the strawberries. In the end he put the strawberries on a cookie sheet and had to spoon on the chocolate. I think he was a little disappointed it didn't turn out the way he wanted, but in my mind it was perfect. Valentine's day wouldn't be valentine's day without something going wrong :) I love him!

What a weekend! Jeff and I are both sick and exhausted. Yesterday I worked at the Y for a few hours in the morning, then Jeff and I left for Lansing for Joanna's and Aunt Joyce's birthday lunch. After that we went back to Marshall so we could get help with our taxes from dad Tark (they're finished!), then we went straight to babysitting until 2am! We were so tired when we got home. I woke up for church this morning and took a shower, but decided I needed some extra rest and climbed back into bed. Jeff has been pretty sick this past week and he wasn't feeling well at all this morning either. We didn't get out of bed until 1:00 this afternoon! I felt beyond lazy, but I think we needed it. I think I might have a little fever, but hopefully another good nights rest tonight will remedy that. We rented Into The Wild so its going to be a laid back night.
Jeff still hasn't heard back about the job, but I think they will probably call tomorrow. If they don't give him the job they are the opposite of smart.
